Pavakkai-Vengayam Thokku

Bitter Gourd Onion Thokku:


Bitter Gourd 1/4 kilo
Onion large 1/4 kilo
Turmeric powder 1/4 spoon
Chili powder 1 spoon
Mustard seeds 1/4 spoon
Oil few spoons
Cilantro to garnish.


Chop bitter gourd finely and salt it. After a while…squeeze the water away.

Finely chop onions and set aside.

In a wide pan, heat oil. splutter mustards in it.

Followed by bitter gourd, onions, salt, turmeric and chili powder.

Cover and cook until they are done!

Garnish with cilantro leaves.
