Hello,

Am glad that you liked my recipe. I generally cook chicken soup in conventional method...boiling along with spices...so the broth tastes better. But here today...I have used country chicken...which may take hours to get cooked, so I pressure cooked it...but never threw the water...the broth was retained, just topped with spices...and continued boiling.

Hi, I was looking for kozhi soup recipes on the net as my fiancee has been under the weather the last 1 week. Thought of making it this weekend. It would be apt for the weather in Bangalore right now! Your photos look absolutely great but I was just a little surprised to see that you cooked the chicken separately. After all the taste of chicken broth is magical on its own. Back in Singapore, I used to cook chicken in low flame for about 2-3 hours with very little spices and some chinese ginseng (supposedly good for women). It's probably a more oriental way of preparation but still I thought chicken broth was crucial in kozhi soup.
