Yeah….AK too told me about ‘Lotus Stem Vathal’ once. I saw North Indians using it widely. Although I am not pretty sure about any other recipes in lotus stem. Anyways…Will try it for you!

we get vazhappoo and lotus roots (or is it stem??) here

we made vazhapoo poriyal… yummy..

not sure as to what can be made with lotus stem. i have read somewhere that people make vaththal from it. but never tried it in my life, as mom never made it.

sankari made some sabji out of lotus stem and it was good. if u know of any recipe of lotus stem (or) its medicinal values, then do post.
