Malar, what a nice vathal recipe. Yes, many of us are blessed with such a nice caring mom. Ur moms Javvarisi vathal is super and looks great to the core. Me too , love to prepare vathal .. Took a note of ur recipe , as it is very simple and easy to follow. Good for summer. Lovely picture.

I used to love Javvarissi Appalams and my sis and I used to call it “Mani” appalam when we were kids. Beautiful Recipe but I can’t do it here ( we don’t get enough sunny days to dry them up). Ijust have to content the store bought ones!
It’s a pity that you’re not somewhere near!!!!!
