Because, the food that we eat not only nourishes the body but also affects our ‘Mind’ and ‘Emotions. That is why in a modern day, A Sattvic diet is also called as Yogic Meal. A Saattvic food could be very vital and  essential for the well-being. Sattvic diet includes food and eating habit that is “pure, essential, natural, wholesome, vital, energy-enriching, clean, conscious, true, honest, wise”.
