Shrimps Manchurian – Restaurant Style

Also Known As Indo-Chinese Style Chili Prawns. Iral Manchoorian.
NC - Cooking211Ingredients:

  • Shrimps 15-25
  • Lemon Juice – freshy sequeezed from 1 fruit
  • Salt as per taste
  • Chili powder
  • Ginger-garlic paste
  • Peanut oil – for deep fying

For Sauce:

  • MSG a pinch
  • Green chilies 1 chopped
  • Shallots 2-3 chopped
  • Garlic 1 head, chopped
  • Green onions, chopped
  • Tomato ketchup 1 table spoon
  • Soy sauce few spoons
  • Oil few spoons

Method:

  1. Marinate shrimps with all the ingredients said above, except oil.
  2. Heat oil in a deep frying pan. When it is smoky hot….fry few of the marinated shrimps. Fry till its crisp.
  3. Then, heat up the separate pan and add oil. Further add all the sauce ingredients to it and allow this to thicken.
  4. Toss the fried shrimps to it and wait till it coats to all the sides.
  5. Serve along with fried rice.
