I am on this strange liquid diet! No, not a weight loss plan or anything. But, apparently for no reason, I fell for this ‘wholesome nutrition’ without tripping the balance.
Well…that’s how banana milkshake came about. And, not all fruits are forbidden fruit, you know! Though many think bananas may go straight to our thighs. If you are a fruit-lover, you shouldn’t shy away from this awesome drink. I bet, you won’t need a straw for this.
Now, coming to think of it…what I like about milkshakes? Partly because its easy to whip, saves me from heavy cleanup mess and most importantly its just perfect to kick-start the day.
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 cups of cold milk
- 1-2 tsp sugar
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream or not
Blend and puree everything or you could retain the ice cream for garnish, as you please. Serve chilled in a tall glass. I bet you won’t need a straw for this. Enjoy.
