Cooking is not only an art but also a science. A healthy life can not only be attributed to one’s lifestyle but also what one eats. Our ancestors have taken this approach and lived in harmony with nature. Recent lifestyle changes and eating habits have contributed to an obesity epidemic. Though the fast food culture and easy to cook food have helped one in effective time management, often it has lead to serious health complications.
KitchenTantra is an effort to retain and propagate the age old tradition of cooking as learnt from our ancestors, focusing not only on tasty and easy to cook recipes but also on the medicinal value of food. KitchenTantra makes every effort to use spices native to India in its recipes. KitchenTantra boasts a collection of around 2000 recipes that have been passed to me from my mother, grandmother and some that resulted from experiments in my own kitchen.
This is not an effort to berate the multinational fast food conglomerates. It is an endeavor to create a compendium of food recipes that will lead to healthy eating habits.
If you would like to be part of this effort and share your valuable contributions, please do so by sending in your article. Your article will be published with due recognition to the contributor.
Healthy eating…
