Also Known As Chili Gobi. Cauliflower pakora. Gobi Fry. Gobi Pakora.
Not every recipe you blog has to be your favorite! But, can’t go without making it. Never been a fan but kind of end up making it, now and then. Does that make sense? It’s one of kind – Chili Gobi, although…I won’t be craving for any substitute for chicken 65, I make these on a regular basis.
Ingredients
- 1 large Cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 egg whites
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- Corn flour 4-6 spoons
- Ginger 1″ minced
- Garlic 2 beads, minced
- Red chili powder 1 spoon
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- Red color (optional)
- Salt
- Oil for frying
Method
- Cut cauliflower into tiny florets. Leave them in warm water for few minutes. Then remove the florets and pat dry them
- Combine all the above said ingredients except cauliflower. Rub this paste to cauliflower and set aside for 2 hours.
- Now heat oil in a frying pan. Surface fry them in hot oil till crisp. Fry just few at a time. Repeat the same for remaining batch. Leave them over kitchen tissues for a while.
- Serve warm as a side dish or snack.
