Chayote Dhall / Chow Chow Dhall


Chow Chow Ghee Dahl:

Choyote Dahl.

Ingredients:

Chow chow 1 or 2
Cooker thoor dahl 1 cup
Salt
Ghee
Mustard seeds 1/4 spoon
Cumin seeds 1/4 spoon
Urad dal 1/4 spoon
Dry red chilies 3
Curry leaves few
Oil few spoons.

Method:

Peel and cut the chow chow into chunks.

Now cook this in cooked thoor dal…till soft. Add salt to it.

When teh veggie is done, remove from heat.

Now in a seperate pan, heat oil and add the tempering items on eby one. Wait till they pop up. Run this seasoning over the dal made above.
