People who are constantly on the move could relate to what I mean. There is always something to do, at somewhere!! But, being a total travel freak doesn’t mean that you will have to ruin your health. Yes, you heard me right. No pit-stopping to grab a bite. I pack my lunch…(I can hear somebody saying ‘foodie’. ) Never mind, if you wanna have fun and still be fit, you need to make some smart changes to your lifestyle. So, I’ve learned its best be prepared. But, that doesn’t mean that I carry a huge volume of groceries with me most of the time. Something small to fit in the purse will do the trick! One such healthy snack on the go is ‘Masala Pori’. A word from the wise, people who criticize the most for packing ‘lunch’, are the ones to take the first bite from you…so always make it for two.
- 2 cups puffed rice
- 1-2 chopped green chilies
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
- 4 tsp chopped red onions
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 4 tsp chopped cilantro
- 2 tsp chopped mint leaves
- salt to taste
- 1 fistful toasted peanuts
- 2 tsp coconut oil
- 1-2 tsp lemon juice
Method
As you might have guessed it by now…Yes, toss everything together and go crazy as you please.
