Almond Milk – Vegan’s Choice

Almond’s Milk. Badam paal. Badami Dhoodh. Badham Paal.

Ingredients:

  • Almonds 2 cups
  • Warm water

Method:

In a bowl of warm water(1 cup water) add almonds and soak for 20 minutes. Then, remove the almond’s skin. And, wet-grind the seeds with cold water. Filter the same to extract liquid. Use the left-over thick paste for other recipes, like curries. Store this milk in an air-tight jars and leave it in the refrigerator. Add sugar and drink up when ever inclined. :)
