Also Known As Aloo Gobi Masala. Potatoes & Cauliflower Fry. Urulaikizhangu – Cauliflower Masala Varuval.
Ingredients:
- Red skinned potatoes 2-4
- Cauliflower 1 head
- Ginger 1 inch, grated
- Onion 1 small, chopped
- Green chili 1, chopped
- Salt
- Turmeric powder 1/4 spoon
- Chili powder 1 spoon
- Curry powder 1 spoon
- Oil few spoons
- Cilantro to garnish
Method:
Boil potato al dente and set aside.In a wide wok, heat oil. Add chilies, ginger and onions. Fry for a while. Maybe till the raw smell leaves the pan. Now toss the vegetables together and add salt, turmeric, curry and chili powder as well. Cover and cook for few minutes. When it is done, garnish with cilantro leaves. Serve warm as a side dish or for chappathi.
