Ingredients
- Carrot – 4, grated
- Coconut 3-4″ - grated
- Coriander leaves, finely chopped
- Green chilies 2 – finely chopped
- Onion 1 small – finely chopped
- Yogurts – 3 cups
- Salt
- Mustard seeds 1/4 spoon
- Cumin seeds 1/4 spoon
- Asafoetida 1/4 spoon
- Urad dal 1/4 spoon
- Curry leaves few
- Sesame oil few spoons
Method
Bring carrot, coconut, onion, chilies and coriander leaves in a wide bowl. Further add salt and yogurts to this. Mix well.
In a small pan, heat oil. Add mustard seeds and wait till they pop. Then add cumin, urad dal, asafoetida and curry leaves to it. Now run the above seasoning over carrot-yogurts bowl. Gently mix again. Refrigerate this at least for two hours before serving.
