Chakara Valli Kizhangu Payasam




Chakara-Valli-Kizhangu Payasam:

Indian Sweet Potato Payasam. Lousiana Yam Brulee’.

Ingredients:

Sweet potatoes 4
Milk 1 cup
Coconut milk 2 cups
Cardamom pods 6 crushed
Sugar 1/4 cup
Grated coconut 1 cup
Ghee few spoons.

Method:

Cook sweet-potatoes till tender, Peel the skin off. Cube them.

Heat sugar with milk. Let the sugar get dissolved and milk reduces.

Add coconut milk, cardamom powder and sweet potato chunk to it.

Further add grated coconut nad remove them from stove.

Run a spoon full of ghee finally.
