Can’t believe, that I haven’t touched the area of everyday basic foods in my blog! Hmmmm, its time to update the essentials first, then. There is nothing much to rant…I almost cook these items with my eyes closed. Even in dream…we don’t mess up with the measurements or ingredients. So, what I am basically saying is…its our basic dish.
Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- salt to taste’
- warm water
- few spoons of oil or ghee
Method
In a wide dish, add flour, salt and warm water. Prepare a smooth dough and finish it with ghee. Set aside for a while. Then, divide them into equal parts. Roll them into thin chappathis and toast it on the both the sides till golden brown.
