I was sleeping like a mad dog’ for several days and nights…without moving a finger! Haunted by ghosts of past life and chased by weird animals all through the time!! I finally woke up from my terrible nightmare’ and told myself…its not end of the world!
Well, I gathered myself to fix a meal…as everyone around me started asking, whether am aiming at size zero! I believe my Dad can’t recognize me…if I continue to fast! Well, just in case if you don’t know about this fast…it is observed by lazy girls today to keep their hands free:)
Ingredients:
Thuvar dal 1 cup
Green chilies 10-12
Onion 1 sliced
Garlic 6 cloves sliced
Tomato 1 large chopped
Cumin seeds 1 spoon
Oil few spoons.
Method:
Now either fry or grill the chilies and set aside.
Cook lentils with enough salt, till tender.
In a wide pan, heat oil. Add cumin seeds, garlic, onions and tomato…fry real good. Add lentils and fried chilies now. Bring this to boil and remove from heat.
Serve warm to go with plain steamed rice or rotis.
