Ingredients
- Hard boiled eggs 4-6, halved
- 3 green chilies, sliced
- Onion large 4,finely chopped
- Tomato large 2, finely chopped
- Garlic 8 cloves, crushed well
- Salt
- Turmeric powder 1/4 spoon
- Chili powder 3/4 spoon
- Curry leaves few
- Mustard seeds 1/2 spoon
- Cumin seeds 1/2 spoon
- Oil 1/2 cup
Method
- In a pan, heat oil. Add mustard, cumin, chilies and curry leaves. Let them sputter well.
- Add garlic and fry till fragrant. Now, add onions and fry till its golden brown.
- Then, add tomatoes and fry for a while. Add salt, turmeric and chili powders. Toss boiled (and peeled) eggs to it. Fry well till all the ingredients coats on to the sides. Voila, its done.
- Serve up steaming hot. It tastes good with both chappati and plain rice. It can be served as a side dish for sambar and rasam rice.
