Mutta Sambal, Guddulu Sambal. Muttai Thokku.
Ingredients:
Hard boiled eggs 4
Sambal paste 1 table spoon
Purple onion 1 large – sliced into rings
Salt to taste
Oil few spoons.
Alternate for Sambal Paste:
Dry Shrimps few teaspoons
Two large tomatoes
Garlic 7 pods
Dry red chilies 7
Sesame oil.
Stir-fry everything together and wet-grind to paste. If you are a vegetarian skip shrimps.
Method:
Heat oil in a wok, add eggs and sambal paste and fry real good. Further add salt and onion rings…stir-fry briefly and remove from heat.
Serve warm to go with your meals…perfect with steamed rice.
