Some of the salty snacks are really very addictive! And, you know what? sometimes, its okay to indulge in home-made goodies than those store bought thingies…you know! What I mean is…at least, we know the ingredients that go into our dish! In fact, many of our traditional snacks usually call for only fewer items, basically staple ones! And, its very easy to fix with minimal effort!
Ingredients
- 2 cups rice flour
- 2 Tsp urid dal powder(roasted)
- 2 Tsp ghee
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- oil for frying
Method
- In a wide bowl, bring all the ingredients (except oil). Mix well, by adding warm water prepare a smooth dough.
- Heat up the oil griddle and fill the dough in the murukku naazhi and press through. Fry till golden brown and leave them on kitchen towel. Remove the excess oil and store them in an air tight jars.
- Serve as a munchie or tea time snack.
