Roasted Potatoes/ Pepper Potatoes / Alu Pepper Roast



Pepper Potatoes:

Ingredients:

Potatoes
Salt
Turmeric 1 pinch
Pepper
Mustard seeds 1/4 spoon
Cilantro leaves few
Olive oil few spoons.

Method:

Boil potatoes with skin-on. Cube them and set aside.

In a wide wok, heat oil. Add the tempering spices and potatoes, wait till oil coats on all sides.

Sprinkle salt, turmeric and pepper powder…roast them over low-medium heat for a long time, maybe till the potatoes are done crisp and brown.

    How are you? It is long time since I last came here, I guess. And what an wonderful recipe is here for me. I mostly cook the potato with skin on ( unless I have some formal guest :-)
    Ya for making a ‘fried boiled potato” the skin must be there and it tastes great.
