Tangdi Kebab

Tangdi Kebab:

Tangdi Kabab. Tangdi K-bab. Tangdi Kawaab. Grilled Chicken Thighs. Grilled Chicken Legs. Tandoored Chicken Drumsticks. Chicken Drumstick Kebabs

Tangdi(Chicken thighs) kebab is an exciting Restaurant special! Should I even mention that I like kebabs?! Hope my blog is quite obvious that I love chicken.:) If a boring mood sets in, I turn to my comfort food…chicken and soup.:) Since its winter here…the days are shorter and I feel drowsy, sleepy, gloomy most of the time. Just to zap my energy at the end of the day…I plan my menu to be extra spicy and something exciting! So, see working hard to keep myself brisk!:) And the recipe is very simple you know…just marinate the chicken and forget about it(like me)! Next day…put them in an oven and sit in front of the TV, when the food is ready…I am positive you will be summoned by its good aroma!:)

Ingredients:

Chicken thighs 4
Yogurts 1 cup
Lemon juice
Chaat masala
Garam masala
Chili powder
Green chili 1 grated
Ginger 2″ grated
Garlic 2 cloves minced
Cilantro few leaves finely minced
All purpose flour few spoons
Ghee few spoons.

Method:

Marinate chicken with all the above mentioned ingredients. Leave them in fridge overnight.

Arrange them in a well greased tray, set the oven, 350 F for about 20 minutes and cook them placing on lower rack.

Then, increase the temperature to your choice and continue cooking for another 30-40 minutes. Make sure the meat is done thoroughly.

It can be enjoyed with Naan bread or roti.
