Smoothies are simply unbeatable breakfast item! No one complains and everyone sips through the last drop! What do you want more. For a busy day…its easy to fix and quite easy to carry. So, we are blending a lot these days. Today, I have spiced up the milk and threw in few carrots to make a yummie creation. Its a definite hit in my home. Now, you must try too…
Ingredients
- 4-5 carrots, chucks
- 2 cups whole milk
- 3 cloves
- 5 cardamom, crushed
- 1 cinnamon stick
- a pinch of saffron
- sugar to taste
- a pinch of cinnamon powder
Method
Heat up the milk and add all the spices, then filter it. Now, discard those spices. Add the carrots to the same milk and cook briefly. Add sugar too. Remove from heat and blend it smooth. Garnish with pinch of cinnamon powder. Chill and serve as a breakfast drink.
