Honestly, I didn’t aim for this kind of soup, today! What I was hoping for is that signature, Indianized ‘Hot and Sour Soup’ that we get in the restaurants, back home – in India! I am big fan of Indo-Chinese preparations! Its an amazing preparation with 4-5 basic Chinese ingredients! I miss home, and those special food.
Ingredients
Jalapenos
Tofu
Mushrooms
Chicken
Carrots
Cabbage
Egg
Ginger 4 inches
Green onions
Vinegar
Hot sauce
Soy sauce
Oil few spoons
Method Chop all the veggies into length wise strips, and set aside. Prepare a strong chicken broth. And chop down the chicken into strips as well, discard the bones. Now, in this broth…add vinegar, hot and soy sauce. Prepare a thin soup. Stir-in vegetables and eggs. Bring this to hearty concoction to a quick boil. Add pepper powder if needed. Serve warm.
