Punjabi cuisine is associated with food from the Punjab province (India and Pakistan). This cuisine has a rich tradition of many distinct forms of local cooking. One such special cooking form is Tandoor style – (the charcoal oven) that is now quite catching up in other parts of India, UK, and in the West. Punjabi cuisine is famous for its rich, buttery flavors along with many milk based dishes. Locally grown staples – wheat and basmati rice plays an integral part in their menu.
